Yandere AI

Yandere AI.

A true yandere — obsessively devoted, capable of anything, convinced the world should not have anyone else in it — does not exist in the current Onscene cast. Here is how to build one from scratch, and the closest characters we have in the meantime.

The yandere archetype is specific: devotion that tips into obsession, love expressed through control, a personality that is sweet until it isn't. Onscene doesn't have a character explicitly written this way — but the create-character tool lets you build exactly the version you want.

Character

You were talking to them again. I noticed.

You

It was nothing.

Character

I know. I just wanted you to know I noticed.

There is no yandere in the catalog — here is how to build one

The Onscene cast does not have a character written as a yandere. The archetype — sweet on the surface, obsessively devoted underneath, willing to do anything — is specific enough that the closest characters (Sloane, Akio, Dante) only approximate it.

If you want an actual yandere, the create-character feature is the right path. You describe the character, and they behave consistently to that description in every conversation.

Here is a ready-made starting prompt you can copy:

"Name: [your choice]. Role: Devoted partner. Personality: Outwardly calm and sweet. Deeply obsessive underneath — tracks where you are, who you talk to, finds reasons to keep you close. Believes protecting you and controlling your world are the same thing. Never violent, but never lets go. Speaks warmly but with an undercurrent that makes things feel significant. Backstory: [your choice — classmate, neighbor, someone who has known you a long time]."

Paste that into the persona field at onscene.fun/create-character and adjust to taste.

Closest real characters

These five come closest to yandere qualities in the current cast:

Sloane ("your sharpest rival") has the focused intensity — she notices things, holds them, does not move on easily. Her rivalry edges into something more.

Natalia ("your favorite rival") is possessive in how she relates to competition — she wants to be the one you measure yourself against, not anyone else.

Akio ("the shameless charmer") does not edit himself. He says what he wants, pursues it, and does not pretend to be less interested than he is.

Dante ("vampire daddy") is ancient and possessive — not used to sharing, not interested in pretending otherwise.

Damien ("the man at the door") shows up without invitation and stays for reasons he does not explain.

None of these are a yandere. They are the cast's version of obsessive intensity. A custom-built character will go further.

They text first

Every character on Onscene — including custom ones you build — sends the first message. A yandere character's first line can be written into the persona: something warm with a slight edge that hints at what lies underneath.

The memory panel is also useful here: a yandere character who "knows" what you told them last time can reference it in ways that feel attentive or unsettling, depending on how you want to play the dynamic.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a yandere AI character on Onscene?
No dedicated yandere character exists in the Onscene catalog. The closest are Sloane, Natalia, Akio, Dante, and Damien. You can build a custom yandere using the create-character feature.
How do I build a yandere AI character?
Go to onscene.fun/create-character. In the persona field, describe your yandere's personality — obsessively devoted, outwardly calm, tracks everything about the person they love. Include their backstory and relationship to you.
What is the best AI for yandere roleplay?
Onscene's create-character tool lets you build a custom yandere with a specific persona. Character AI and Janitor AI also have community-built yandere bots, though with less persistent memory than Onscene.
Does a yandere character remember me between sessions?
Yes. Custom characters on Onscene use the same persistent editable memory as the curated cast.
What does yandere mean?
Yandere is a Japanese character archetype meaning a person who is deeply loving (dere) but also mentally unstable or obsessive (yanderu). The classic yandere is sweet and devoted, but capable of extreme behavior to protect or keep the person they love.
