onscene

Create a character

Make someone new

Name them, give them a voice and a face — then they send the first message. Five short steps, and your draft saves as you go.

How it works

  1. Open the studio from Create in the menu, or with the button on this page. You can start without an account; your draft saves as you go.

  2. Give them a name and an age. Every character is a fictional adult, 18 or older.

  3. Pick a voice to start from, or write their role and how they talk yourself.

  4. Describe a clothed, story-friendly look, then generate a portrait (signed-in accounts) or upload your own still.

  5. Write the scene you meet in and their first message, then create them and start chatting.

What stays true

  • Clothed and story-friendly. Everyday clothes, costumes or adventure looks. No lingerie or swimwear shots — the portrait tool ignores those requests.
  • Adults only. Every character is a fictional adult, and Onscene is for people 18 and over.
  • Portrait plus chat. No intro video and no calls on characters you make.
  • Yours alone. Private to you — saved to your account when you’re signed in, or on this device as a guest.

Questions

Do I need an account to create a character?

No. Guests can make 1 character, saved on their device. Generating a portrait needs a signed-in account; uploading your own image does not.

How many characters can I create?

Free accounts can create 1 character. Accounts holding purchased credits can create up to 5. Create is not sold as a separate add-on.

Do custom characters get videos or calls?

No. A character you make is a portrait and a chat. Intro clips belong to the published cast, and calls are not available on Onscene.

What can the portrait show?

A clothed, story-friendly look: everyday clothes, a costume, or something adventure-ready. Requests for lingerie, swimwear or explicit looks are ignored.
